Société de Aéro-Navale, in France originally built the CWH Grumman Widgeon (CF-ODR) in 1956 and so is a SCAN 30 version. It was converted to a Super Widgeon by McKinnon Enterprises, Oregon. CF-ODR was then purchased by the Department of Lands and Forests and imported into Canada. Stationed at Toronto Island, this aircraft was used to fly personnel and supplies into remote areas of Northern Ontario, until 1968. Lorne Corley then purchased the amphibian and flew it privately, until he generously donated it to CWH in May 2001.
