It’s time to celebrate 50 years of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum! While the organization has grown into a world-renowned aviation museum, it began rather innocuously in the early 1970s under the leadership of two friends, Dennis Bradley and Alan Ness, who dreamed of flying a P-51 Mustang.
Join us for a black tie gala in honour of half a century of aviation excellence. Featuring The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra - the most popular and sought after big band in the world today for both concert and swing dance engagements. With its unique jazz sound, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time. The present Glenn Miller Orchestra was formed in 1956 and has been touring consistently since, playing an average of 300 live dates a year all around the world.
Dress is formal – Mess Kit, Black Tie or Business Suit.

Rolls/butter; Seasonal salad: Heritage blend greens roasted butternut squash, toasted pumpkin seeds dried cranberries with an apple cider honey vinaigrette; Pasta: Lasagna; Entrée:
Braised short rib with red wine demi and chicken supreme with a cream sauce or vegetable strudel, with potato gratin and roasted root vegetable;
Dessert: Mint chocolate mousse.
