Introduction

The experience begins the moment you and your guests arrive at our fabulous facility where nostalgia fills the air and the museum's extraordinary collection of vintage aircraft set the stage. There is just nothing like it. All rooms are fully catered by our chefs and exceptional staff.

Whether your group is a small crew of 10 or a full squadron of 1,400, the museum is truly an impressive location. It is a popular site for reunions, weddings, dinners, dances, Christmas parties and business meetings.

There are a wide variety of meeting rooms and special event areas available to rent for your corporate or private functions. The Museum's unique location is also an ideal setting to conduct business meetings, as out-of-town invitees can fly in to Hamilton International Airport and make use of our private aircraft apron.

Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Catering Menu

All dinner packages include: white table linen; coordinating color linen napkins; all required china, cutlery and glasses; bar service with disposable products; complete set-up, service and cleanup. Our staff will prepare all the tables and cater to all of your guests' requirements. All serving staff are dressed in formal black tie. Appetizers, salads, pasta, and entrees may be served individually, family style, or buffet style.

Our Facilities

Our Hangar is an ideal setting for receptions and special gatherings for up to 1400 people! Tables are set up right on our main hangar floor, surrounded by dozens of spectacular vintage aircraft. Guests are welcome to wander around the hangar during your special event to view these fabulous planes and we always endeavor to have several volunteers available on the hangar floor to answer questions about the facility and our aircraft. The hangar is fully heated and is wheelchair accessible.

The Dome is perfect for the more intimate affair. This special event room, which is located at the front of our fabulous facility, right off the Gift Shop, can accommodate up to 190 for a stand up reception or 110 for a sit down dinner. The unusual room, with it's curved dome ceiling, has been the site for numerous movie-shoots over the past several years. Dome is fully heated and air-conditioned and is also wheelchair accessible.

We also offer smaller rooms such as our TG Room, located on the second floor at the rear of the museum. This room is lavishly furnished with numerous couches and lounge chairs overlooking the airfield and runway. The TG Room can accommodate up to 60 persons, is fully heated and air conditioned, but is not wheelchair accessible.

Located on the second floor in our administration area, is our Board Room. This room overlooks the entire hangar and our whole aircraft collection. It is furnished with upholstered conference chairs, features ceiling to floor windows, and is the perfect setting for business meetings or small gatherings. The Board Room can accommodate up to 20 persons, is fully heated and air conditioned, and is wheelchair accessible.
