Holiday Programs 2008

Canadian Warplane Heritage offers programs over the March Break and Christmas Holidays.

During March Break 2008 we are offering 2 age-related modeling workshops.

Dates: March 10-14, 2008

Modeling Mania:

This program is offered daily from 10am - 3pm during March Break and the Christmas holidays. Please join us for a fun-filled day building aircraft models in our hangar workshops. For the modeler who prefers scale model aircraft, a plastic airplane kit is provided along with all the necessary supplies to build, paint and decorate a complete aircraft. For ages 9 and up.

$35.00 per person
(plus $2.10 GST = $37.10)

Fee for the day including airplane kit, all assembly supplies and lunch.


Pine Power

This program is offered daily from 10am - 3pm during March Break and the Christmas holidays. The program is geared towards those who are interested in acquiring woodworking skills, and learning how to build a wooden aircraft from blockwood. Under the supervision of adults, learn to safely operate woodworking machine tools such as a scroll saw, belt sander, drum sander and a drill press. For ages 11 and up.

$35.00 per person
(plus $2.10 GST = $37.10)
Fee for the day including airplane kit, all assembly supplies, access to the woodworking shop and lunch.
