“We
couldn’t do it without our volunteers” is a phrase
you hear quite often at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
On any given day at CWHM you will see volunteers assisting
in every facet of the museum’s operation.
Volunteers have
been an integral part of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
since it was established in 1971. The support we receive from
our volunteers is essential to the successful operation of
CWHM as a world class facility.
This section will
provide an overview of the various volunteer activities and
opportunities available at CWHM, and information on how you
can participate. Please note that not all placement areas
are available at any given time.
The Volunteer Services
department of Canadian Warplane Heritage is responsible for
managing over 260 volunteers who provide services and support
to the museum on a daily basis. If you can give a few hours
per week and are willing to make a commitment, volunteer opportunities
are available throughout the museum.
