Catering - FAQs
Catering - FAQs
Are candles permitted?
Candles or any other open flames are not permitted on the premises. We house a number of operational aircraft and as such many of these aircraft carry fuel. While this poses no danger in and of itself, safety is first and foremost for our visitors and staff and all precautions must routinely be taken.
Can we bring in our own wine?
Yes. We have a varied selection of exceptional VQA wines to choose from, but if you wish to bring in your own wine, we would be more than happy to accommodate you. However, as is standard will all venues, a corkage fee will apply.
Can we bring in our own caterers?
We are a full-service facility and are proud to offer exceptional menus at competitive prices. All food is prepared on-site by our friendly staff and we regret that we are unable to accommodate outside caterers.
What hours does the bar service operate?
The bar service is typically available from 5pm – 1am.
Can we have the ceremony at the museum too?
Yes! Absolutely! We would be more than happy to host your wedding ceremony right here at the museum. Wedding ceremonies are typically held in our Dome, which is a curved room with a domed ceiling located at the very front of the facility. Please note that an additional fee will apply for room rental and set-up.
Is there free parking at the museum?
Yes. The museum boasts plenty of free, convenient parking in a large lot located right adjacent to the facility.
Can guests wander through the hangar during the reception?
Absolutely! We welcome guests to view our many aircraft and we always endeavour to have a volunteer or two on hand to answer questions or to share a quick story.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Our entire facility is wheelchair accessible, other than our TG Room located on the second floor above the Café.
