The Library has approximately 4000 books and several thousand periodicals.
The books in the library form various collections
which relate to specific aircraft, power plants, organizations and
personnel. Most of the books and periodicals in the collection
relate to the World War II period and to the aircraft which the
Museum flies and displays. The collection has grown over time mostly
from donations from the public and members.
The library is run by volunteers who operate the library and
provide research services. The library volunteers are presently
working on an electronic catalog for the library's holdings.

The Library was built from generous donations from our members
and the public. The museum does not buy its resources, we will
however, graciously accept a donation if the library has determined
in advance that the book meets the Museum's
mandate and , we do not already have duplicates of that book.
So, if you are interested in donating books to the library, please
e-mail to museum@warplane.com or write to us with details about
the book at the address below.
Perhaps your book will enhance our library and contribute to
the preservation of Canada's warplane heritage.
