Catering
Services
The
experience begins the moment you and your guests arrive
at our fabulous facility where nostalgia fills the air and
the museum’s extraordinary collection of vintage aircraft
set the stage. There is just nothing like it. All rooms
are fully catered by our chefs and exceptional staff.
All
dinner packages include: white table linen; coordinating
color linen napkins; all required china, cutlery and glasses;
bar service with disposable products; complete set-up, service
and cleanup. Our staff will prepare all the tables and cater
to all of your guests’ requirements. All serving staff
are dressed in formal black tie. Appetizers, salads, pasta,
and entrees may be served individually, family style, or
buffet style.

Our
Facilities
The
Canadian Resident Abroad Display Hangar
is an ideal setting for receptions and special gatherings
for up to 1400 people! Tables are set up right on our main
hangar floor, surrounded by dozens of spectacular vintage
aircraft. Guests are welcome to wander around the hangar
during your special event to view these fabulous planes
and we always endeavor to have several volunteers available
on the hangar floor to answer questions about the facility
and our aircraft.
The
Dofasco Dome is perfect for the more intimate
affair. This special event room, which is located at the
front of our fabulous facility, right off the gift shop,
can accommodate up to 190 for a stand up reception or 110
for a sit down dinner. The unusual room, with it’s
curved dome ceiling, has been the site for numerous movie-shoots
over the past several years.
We
also offer smaller rooms such as our Thompson Gordon
Room, located on the second floor at the rear of
the museum. This room is lavishly furnished with numerous
couches and lounge chairs overlooking the airfield and runway.
The Thompson Gordon room can accommodate up to 60 persons.
Located
on the second floor in our administration area, is our Ferry
Command Board Room. This room overlooks the entire
hangar and our whole aircraft collection. It is furnished
with upholstered conference chairs, features ceiling to
floor windows, and is the perfect setting for business meetings
or small gatherings. The Ferry Command Board Room can accommodate
up to 25 persons.

Information
All
rooms are fully air-conditioned except for the Canadian
Resident Abroad Display Hangar. This room is, however, fully
heated.
