A.C.E. CAMP 2009

The A.C.E. Camp, or Aviation Career Education, is a learning experience in a fun environment offered to kids from 12 to 15 years. This program will provide "campers" with firsthand information about many careers in the aviation industry and features a 20-minute flight over the Hamilton Skyline in a vintage DC-3 Aircraft!

Camp fee:
1 week session $325.00 per child
(plus 5% GST)

Register before June 30, 2009 and pay only $285.00 (plus 5% GST)

Camp fees include a lunch and two snacks each day and a camp t-shirt!

Session 1:  July 13 - 17
Session 2:  August 10 - 14

Hours: 9:15am - 4:15pm daily

CAMP HIGHLIGHTS
	Experience how aircraft are controlled in flight.
	Conduct telemetry experiments with pop-bottle rockets
	Take the Ejection Seat Challenge.
	Build and detail a scale plastic model
	Learn the safe operation of wood working tools while building a wood airplane model.
	Visit Ontario Flightcraft's maintenance hanger.
	Build and fly the "Kimoto Flyer".
	See aircraft being restored to flying condition.
	Visit with a Nav Canada air traffic controller.
	Visit Hamilton International Airport main terminal.
	Fly over the Hamilton Skyline in a vintage DC-3 Dakota Aircraft!
	See how airport firefighters do their job.
	Visit Jetport Maintenance Hanger.
	Visit Canada Customs & Revenue, and UPS Parcel Facility.
