After the devastating fire of 1993 which destroyed half of one of the museum hangars and five aircraft, it was decided to construct a spectacular new facility at the Hamilton Airport.
Dofasco Inc. was the first major corporation to show their support of this fantastic new facility by sponsoring the unique dome-shaped room at the front of the building and aptly named "The Dofasco Dome". This unique room is used for meetings, receptions and as the starting point for the educational tours.
