Description: One man who did remember the Stirling was the wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill seen in this unique film inspecting "V" Victor from No. 7 Squadron at Northolt (1941). See Sir Arthur Harris in a speech he made in 1942 warning Hitler's Nazis of the forthcoming bombing offensive. One of the first Stirling raids in 1942 was against the Renault factory of Billancourt near Paris. No. XV Squadron attached as low as 2,000 feet claiming every bomb hit the target. Fly with a Stirling crew on a typical night bombing raid on Duisburg - Briefing - Crew bus - Take off - Journey to target - Bombing - Hit by flak - Return.
