This week’s feature from the Archives Department is a black and white photograph of a Handley Page Halifax bomber. The aircraft features nose art of a tiger head on top of a maple leaf and is called “The A Train.” “The A Train” belonged to 424 Squadron and carried her crew to the target 13 times. WHIMIS Training
WHIMIS training sessions for CWH staff and volunteers will be taking place on the following dates:
Tues. March 6, 9-12:30 or Sat March 10, 9-12:30 in the dome.
Volunteers are invited to sign-up for either training session. Sign-up sheets are posted on the Health & Safety Board located by the Bolingbroke Restoration area.

Tour Guides/Duty Day volunteering for weddings and evening events are generally needed from 5:00pm – 10:00pm (unless otherwise indicated on posting) to conduct tours and answer questions about CWH and the aircraft.
- Retirement Party in the Hangar – Wednesday, March 7th 4:00pm – 7:00pm 100-150ppl. 2 volunteers needed in the hangar and at admissions.
- Wedding Ceremony & Reception in the Hangar – Saturday, March 17th 5:00p.m. – 10:00p.m. 100ppl. 1 volunteer needed at admissions to guide guests to hangar. 2 volunteers needed in the hangar.
- Police Chiefs Dinner in the Thomson-Gordon Rm. – Wednesday, March 28th 4:30pm – 11:00pm. 25-30ppl. 2 volunteers needed in the hangar and at admissions.
- Brampton Flight Centre Hangar Tour – Friday, March 30th @ 1:00pm. 12ppl. 1 Tour Guide needed
- Wedding in the Hangar – Saturday, April 21st 5:00pm – 10:00pm. 120ppl 5 volunteer needed at admission and in the hangar.
