Lancaster Tour 2010

This summer, the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s Avro Lancaster is embarking on its largest tour of Western Canada in 20 years. North America’s only flying Lancaster will be seen and heard by hundreds of thousands of people, making several stops including Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton. It will also headline the warbird line up at the Abbotsford International Airshow. Be sure to check back here often for updates on specific times and locations so you can view and even tour inside the Lancaster.

This should be a great tour. For anyone who lives close to sites being visited, please be sure to notify your local radio stations and circulars to inform as many as you can about the Lancasters visit to your area. IT is one way you can support Canada’s finest flying history museum. The more visitors who come to see VRA the better the chance of her returning in the near future. The costs of having her travel so far from home are huge so every penny counts.

A tight fight for 6 footer to get in the Lancaster,had a Great Time,Great Flight it was over too fast and Took Too Many Pictures.
