Rules

• Models which have won first prize(s) and or “Best Of..” awards at previous Canadian or US competitions between February 2007 and January 2008 are not eligible.
• Entries may be constructed from any material.
• Models may be displayed on simple basis, but except for dioramas, bases will not be considered in the judging.
• Judges may combine or split categories prior to judging.
• All decisions of the judges are final.

Out of Box
Use any commercially available kit
Finish with brush, airbrush, spray can or natural plastic

Allowed:
Filling seems and gaps
Sanding off rivets
Drilling guns and exhausts
Thinning trailing edges of aircraft wings, flaps and landing gear doors
Hand painting of instrument panels and consoles
Rescribing panel lines removed during sanding

Not Allowed:
Vacuform, manufacture or replace kit parts with one not supplied in the kit
Adding anything to the model not included in the kit, including seatbelts. And aftermarket decals.

Conversions
Conversions must include a description of the changes. The use of commercial conversion kits is not eligible for the Conversion Category.

Scratch Built
Scratch built models must be less than 25% of commercially available parts.
